Another small improvement

This one, my friends, is my favorite improvement so far. This house was previously occupied by a 90-something year old woman who needed to take her shower sitting in a chair with a hose attached to the pipe...one of those "old people" shower heads. It was so securely attached to the pipe that we took showers for a few weeks with the "old people hose" and it was....interesting. After a trip to Menards to get some lightbulbs, brackets, and other odds and ends, we ended up with this little beauty:

It has an obnoxious number of settings, including a circular massage option and a steam/mist option that I absolutely love. What sold Graham is the "water pause" feature. You turn the head and it basically turns off the water for a few seconds so you can lather up or shampoo your head and save a little water while you're at it.

This is a small adjustment, and certainly isn't something that would increase value on our home, but it makes a world of difference for my nightly showers. I've never said, "Oh man!" so many times in the shower. ::wink:: And the water pressure this baby puts out? Ah. Mazing. It's truly wonderful
